Honor scheduled a launch for November 23, and later the company confirmed we’ll see the Magic Vs foldable make its debut. Today, the company CEO George Zhao posted on Weibo a video, revealing the Honor 80 series will also be introduced next Wednesday.  The phones will have a dual front-facing camera, positioned centrally, paving the way for a Dynamic Island-type of notifications.

Timmy Yip, a 58-year-old well-known Hong Kong artist who specializes in visual and modern art, costume design, and other mediums, unveiled the phone’s design. The Chinese model and actor Simon Gong, a member of the Honor family since the 50 series, is another famous influencer who advertised the gadgets on their page.

Even though the two large circles that make up the Honor camera have been a part of the brand ever since it became independent, this execution appears to be the best so far attributed to the inclusion of the number 8. We don’t know much about the series other than the few photos and videos that have been released as teasers.

The Honor 80 with a Dimensity 1080 chipset, the Honor 80 Pro with a 108MP camera and Snapdragon 778G processor, and the Honor 80 Pro with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, a 160MP primary camera, and two 50MP selfie cameras are the three products that we do anticipate.

Honor 80 Pro+ Might Be A Camera-Centric Phone With 160-MP Camera

The Honor 80 is the company’s next flagship series. Three models will be part of the series: vanilla, Pro, and Pro+, according to some earlier sources. All of these models have begun to show up in various leaks and renderings. The newest information, however, indicates that the next Honor 80 Pro+ will include a 160MP camera on the back.

It is important to note that some earlier rumors said the Pro+ prototype really included a 200MP sensor. But it appears that Honor has shifted its position. In any case, the Pro+ will sport two 50MP cameras with a Sony IMX890 sensor on the front. This 1/1.56″ is a replacement for the well-liked IMX766 and has a 50.3MP resolution (with a Quad Bayer filter). If the IMX890 is meant for the front camera module rather than one of the back camera modules is not entirely apparent.

If we quickly compare the Honor 70 series to the previous model, the rear of the device features a 54+50MP camera arrangement. Regardless, the Pro+ will reportedly include a 1.5K display with a high-frequency PWM (1,200 pixels or so horizontal resolution). Additionally, it will charge its battery at the same 100W rate as the previous model.

According to other sources, the standard, Pro, and Pro+ variants will contain Snapdragon 778G, Dimensity 1080, and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipsets, respectively. The 200MP camera on that final one was intended to be standard.

The Honor 80 series has not yet had a debut date announced by Honor. On November 23, the business will debut Magic5, its newest flagship series. Later on, there ought to be a separate launch for the 80 series. Before the year is up, the business is expected to debut the series.
