Apple iPhone 17 models next year will be equipped with 24-megapixel front cameras

MacRumors got investor reports from Haitian International Securities analyst Jeff Pu. From the 12MP lens of the iPhone 15 series, all four iPhone 17 series devices shown by Apple next year will have 24-megapixel front cameras, according to the report.

Actually, at least one iPhone 17 series model would include a 24-megapixel front camera with six lenses, according to Tianfeng International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also mentioned in January this year. Stated differently, several sources have lately verified this, hence the credibility is solid.

Apple iPhone 17 models next year will be equipped with 24-megapixel front cameras.

Guo Mingchi noted at the time that the front camera of the iPhone mostly comes from Yujingguang. Given that the unit price of 6P lenses is 100–120% more than that of 5P, Yujingguang’s 2H25 income of more than NT$3 billion (IT Home Note: now roughly RMB 663 million) should be much enhanced by them.
