Tesla recalled more than 27,000 cybertrucks

Automotive company Tesla has recalled more than 27,000 Cybertrucks due to problems with rear-view camera images.

According to a foreign news agency, according to the company, images from the rearview camera in some electric vehicles do not appear within two seconds of the vehicle going into reverse gear.

The recalled cybertrucks include trucks manufactured between November 13, 2023, and September 14, 2024.

The batch of vehicles recalled Thursday is the fifth batch of Tesla trucks to be recalled in the past 12 months.

In a report submitted to the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the company said that after putting the vehicle in reverse gear, images from the rearview camera are displayed with an eight-second delay.

Tesla said in the report that the delay in-camera display availability could increase the risk of collisions by affecting the driver’s rear view.

However, drivers can reverse the vehicle by turning around and using the mirrors.
