Paris: A professional stunt driver has set a Guinness world record by bungee jumping while sitting in a car.
Professional stuntman and race driver Laurent Lascaux was selected for the world record attempt organized by Nissan France in the Paris business district.
Guinness World Record for bungee jumping
The car, attached to eight bungee cords, was dropped by a crane from a height of 213 feet and 3 inches (a target set by Guinness World Records).
Nissan marketing director Jerome Bigot said the stunt was a logical move after the Qashqai e-Power was featured in several TV commercials.
