The AI chatbot “Support Assistant” will guide users through re-securing their login and restoring their accounts after they have been hacked.
Eligible users can access the tool in the YouTube Help Center by clicking the “Chat with our Hacked Channel Assistant” button.

After selecting the option, the chatbot will ask the user questions about themselves and their account to protect their Google login and eliminate any changes made to the channel by the hacker.
The tool will then encourage users to strengthen their account security to reduce the risk of being hacked.

The new tool is currently only available in English, and certain features are only available to “special users.” However, Google subsidiary YouTube plans to make this feature available to all users in the future.
