Apple stops signing iOS 17.3.1
As of right now, iOS 17.4—which Apple published on March 5—is the only version of iOS that allows signing. It mostly updates App Store, Safari, and other programmes for the European market and adds new Emoji.
In order to encourage consumers to maintain their operating system up to date and stop downgrading to earlier, less secure versions of the iPhone operating system, Apple usually prohibits users from installing previous versions of iOS.
Users with upgraded iPhones cannot downgrade to iOS 17.3.1 as Apple has stopped signing it.
