Apple adjusts iOS before the end of this year

It is now possible for iOS homescreen users to delete numerous pre-installed apps. Apple also intends to allow users to fully uninstall Safari in the future, which is something that some customers are expecting. Apple is targeting the end of 2024 as the release date for this option.

The aforementioned changes are likely to be exclusive to the European market, while Apple did not specify any areas in its log sheet.

 

To meet the demands of the European Union’s Digital Marketplace Access (DMA), Apple has said that they are working on a “user-friendly” solution that will make it easy for iPhone users to transfer data to “non-Apple phones” (i.e., Android phones). They are targeting the fall of 2025 as a release window.
