Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently attending the ongoing BRICS summit in South Africa, but he joined the online event and watched the scenes of the space mission landing on the moon.

It may be recalled that forty days ago, this space mission took off from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh, consisting of three major components: a lander, a rover, and a propulsion model.

which helped land on the moon using an orbiter from Chandrayaan-2 in the atmosphere.

The space mission’s lunar lander “Vikram” landed on the moon using a Mark 3 heavy-lift launch vehicle known as the Baahubali rocket.

It then launched the land rover Pragyan, which will orbit the lunar surface for one lunar day (14 Earth days).

Before the departure of the space mission, Indian scientists had claimed that the Mooncraft ‘Vikram’ would land in the south pole of the Moon, where water molecules have been found.

It should be noted that this discovery made during India’s first moon mission in 2008 shocked the world.

After India’s second lunar mission, Chandrayaan-2 failed four years ago in 2013, several changes have been made to the new space mission. Before Chandrayaan-2, Chandrayaan-1 also did not achieve any significant success contrary to the claims.

After the successful landing of the space mission on Chadan, the next project of the Indian organization ISRO is to test the human space flight for the study of the sun, for which the preparations are going on vigorously.
