Apple iPhone 15 series screen insights

In a recent analysis, DSCC, a consulting firm specializing in screen supply chains, tracked the shipments of screens for the iPhone 15 series this year and discovered that they were 16% higher than those for the iPhone 14 series. According to the latest data on iPhone 15 series panel shipments, the Pro model had a larger share from June to October compared to the 13 Pro and 14 Pro models.

Comparatively, the combined market share of the iPhone 14 and 13 series was 54% from June to October, whereas the iPhone 15 Pro model accounted for 64%.

From June through October, the combined average selling price of iPhone 15 models was 5% more than that of iPhone 14, according to research. This was due to the 71% share of iPhone 15 Pro models, which was higher than September’s 65% share.

In September of this year, LG Display, which accounts for around 18% of Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max screens, started shipping panels in close succession.

In October of this year, BOE began shipping panels for the iPhone 15, making up 1% of the total. Additionally, BOE provides panels for the iPhone 12, 13, and 14.
