Xiaomi Is Developing MIOS to Replace MIUI
The Xiaomi MIOS, the forthcoming operating system that would be used by the business, has been the subject of rumors for a number of months. MIOS, the much-anticipated operating system from Xiaomi, is now in the development stage.
A few individuals with insider knowledge have published a screenshot of the “About” screen, which is rumored to contain the MIOS logo. There are a number of convincing arguments floating around that are leading us to conclude that MIOS is, in fact, in the process of being developed.
Xiaomi Is Developing MIOS to Replace MIUI
Since almost a decade ago, people have been spreading rumors about MIOS all over the place. In 2013, we found out that Xiaomi was in the process of developing its own operating system.
At the time, there were whispers that the operating system will make its debut concurrently with Xiaomi’s flagship Mi 4. On the other hand, that did not occur. Instead of that, the smartphone was released with the official version of MIUI, just as all models that followed it.
It would appear that Xiaomi has made a U-turn at this point. The fact that MIOS is currently in the alpha stage of development is abundantly obvious from the screenshot that was stolen from the screen that says “About.” The important thing to take up from this is that the version number begins all over again. According to the build number, the solution was supposed to be ready on November 5th, 2022, but the company does not yet have a working version of it.
The important thing to remember is that the MIOS specifications are still a secret. On the other hand, if it is in fact being developed, it is anticipated that it will become a fork of Android, similar to how Huawei’s Harmonys operates. It is speculated that the user interface design and the capabilities of MIOS will be comparable to those of the default MIUI.
It is not clear, however, to what extent the corporation would differentiate its operating system from Android. As soon as we have additional information, we will not hesitate to pass it along to each and every one of you.
