Previously, only a small number of users were able to publish five-minute movies to TikTok; now, with the current update, everyone will be able to do so without restriction. While this adjustment has the potential to increase overall engagement and attract more people, it is not without risks.
Simply follow these steps to produce videos on TikTok that will last for 10 minutes:
TikTok should be opened and the ‘Record’ button in the bottom bar should be pressed.
Above the pink camera button are four options: 15 seconds, 60 seconds, 3 minutes, and 10 minutes.
Continue to slide over until you reach a distance of 10 metres from the starting point. It’s now time to record or submit your TikTok video to the internet.
Alternatively, if you do not see the 10m option, it indicates that the feature is not now available to you.
The use of short-form content to promote a business, a product, or a service might be limiting when it comes to marketing. In terms of monetization, everything is extremely restrictive. As a result of this enhancement, viewers will be able to spend more time on the platform without having to watch multiple portions of a video series.
In a statement, Tiktok said, “We’re excited to begin rolling out the option to submit movies up to 10 minutes in length, which we believe will allow our creators around the world even more creative control.”
