The device called the Sweeper, consists of a lightweight battery pack that attaches to the phone via a magnetic holder on the back of the phone and connects to a port on the bottom.
Each battery pack weighs approximately the same as two double A-size batteries and is compatible with all smartphones.
To use it, users place their phones in a vacuum device that automatically removes the used battery and replaces it with a fully charged battery.
The device can hold up to five charge batteries at the same time, which the makers of the device say makes it ideal for family use.
According to Ali Saleh, creator of Sweepry, modern smartphones run out of battery very quickly and it’s easy to forget to charge them. With the help of this device, users will not need to use cables to charge their mobile phones with a reminder.
The device was showcased at the Consumer Electric Show held in Las Vegas from January 9 to 12, 2024, and is expected to go on sale in the second quarter of this year.
