iPhone 14 Pro benchmark score is higher than iPhone 13 Pro
On the Chinese social media platform Weibo, AnTuTu has just made public the AnTuTu scores for the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. It came as no surprise that the currently available iPhone 14 Pro scored better in terms of CPU, GPU, Memory, and User Experience than the iPhone 13 Pro from the prior iteration. Let’s get into the nitty-gritty of it all.
The scores on Geekbench are designed to be an assessment of raw power, and the findings of Geekbench 5 indicate that the advance over the models from the previous year was not particularly significant.
According to the results of Geekbench 5, the iPhone 14 Pro achieves a score of 1,879 for its single core and 4,664 for its multicore performance. When compared to the benchmark test for the iPhone 13 Pro, the precursor of the iPhone 14 Pro achieved a score of 1,797 for its single core and 4,659 for its multiple cores.
The A16 Bionic processor is 10% faster on a single core compared to its predecessor, as measured by this test; nevertheless, the multi-core component shows no difference.
AnTuTu claims that this represents one of the biggest boosts in GPU performance that any phone has seen in a number of years.
AnTuTu ran the benchmark on the 1TB versions of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro because both of those models contain 6GB of RAM. Both of these devices are powered by a brand new A16 Bionic chip. The overall score for the iPhone 14 Pro was 9,78,147, while the score for the iPhone 14 Pro Max was 9,72,936. On the central processing unit, the 14 Pro received a score of 2,46,572, while the 14 Pro Max received a score of 2,41,999.
The results of AnTuTu indicate that the scores achieved by the iPhone 14 Pro are 18.8% higher than those achieved by the iPhone 13 Pro. The performance of the CPU has increased by 17%, and the performance of the GPU has increased by 28%.
