Release Of The Vivo S17e On Its Official Website

Vivo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is developing a new line. The Vivo S17e, one of the members of the much-anticipated sequel, quietly went up for sale on the company’s website today. It’s worth noting that Samsung hasn’t announced all of the S17 devices just yet, but that the official announcement will take place on May 31.

Vivo S17e Specs, Features & Launch Date

The brand-new smartphone’s display will be comparable to that of high-end models. The next Vivo S17e will have a 6.78-inch, 10-bit AMOLED display with a full HD resolution. Additionally, the refresh rate will be 120 Hz. The fingerprint scanner is embedded into the phone’s underside, and its sides are curved. On the other hand, the 16-megapixel front-facing camera will be accessible through a cutout in the smartphone’s display. The forthcoming Vivo phone will be powered by the mid-range Dimensity 7200 processor.

The smartphone will include two cameras—one on the back that may be used independently of the other. On the rear, you’ll find a 64-megapixel main camera plus a 2-megapixel depth sensor for improved portrait photography. The phone has a 4,600 mAh battery to keep everything running smoothly. The USB Type-C port at the bottom will support 66W charging. The S17e is anticipated to run OriginOS 3 on top of Android 13, with compatibility for Wi-Fi 6 and 5G networks.

You can choose between Gold, Blue, or Black for your vivo S17e. The former pair, made possible by cutting-edge three-layer coating technology, feature a clean sand pattern. Isn’t that incredible? I’m sorry to break it to you, but the phone is already for sale. To get 8/128 GB of storage on the Vivo S17e would set you back CNY2,099 (about $300/€275). The 8 GB/256 GB model costs CNY2,299 ($325/€300), while the 12 GB/256 GB model costs CNY2,499 ($355/€330). Let me tell you that e-phones from the S series hardly ever make it outside of China, so we’ll be keeping a close check on the S17 and S17 Pro, which are rumored to be leaving China as part of the V family.
