Samsung Electronics has declared its intention to decrease the frequency of software updates for the Galaxy S20 series of smartphones from a monthly basis to a quarterly basis. Consequently, the Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, and S20 FE models will transition from receiving monthly security upgrades to receiving updates every three months.

The Galaxy S20 series has recently been equipped with the March 2024 security update, ensuring its safety in the immediate future. Nevertheless, this series of models will not be eligible for the April upgrade, and it is anticipated that the subsequent update will occur in June.
