The verdict at a glance

  • Cheapest entry point: Jazz Weekly WhatsApp & SMS — Rs. 34 for 7 days, but only 25 MB of WhatsApp data plus 1,500 SMS.
  • Cheapest WhatsApp-only monthly: Zong Monthly WhatsApp — 4 GB for Rs. 250 (about Rs. 62.50 per GB), valid 30 days.
  • Best value per GB: Ufone Social WhatsApp — 10 GB for Rs. 350 (load), about Rs. 35 per GB, valid 30 days.
  • Most social data overall: Ufone Social Grand — 25 GB across social apps for Rs. 850 (about Rs. 34 per GB), plus 3,000 on-net minutes.
  • Telenor: no WhatsApp bundle could be verified — Telenor’s website was unreachable when we checked, so no Telenor row is listed rather than a guessed figure.

Jazz: cheapest weekly, no WhatsApp-only monthly

Jazz’s Weekly WhatsApp & SMS bundle is the cheapest way into WhatsApp in Pakistan at Rs. 34, including tax, for 7 days — but the 25 MB allowance covers texting only, and heavy media or voice notes will burn through it fast. Jazz lists no WhatsApp-only monthly bundle on its website any more: the older monthly offer on *661# is gone. For a month of WhatsApp on Jazz, the route is the Monthly YouTube and Social Offer — 10 GB shared across YouTube, Facebook and WhatsApp for Rs. 608, plus 300 Jazz minutes and SMS and 50 other-network minutes, on *620#. TikTok-only users can take the Monthly TikTok bundle instead: 5 GB for Rs. 104, subscribed through the SIMOSA app, as Jazz publishes no USSD code for it. See the full verified figures on our Jazz internet packages page and our Jazz social packages guide.

Zong: the straightforward monthly WhatsApp bundle

Zong’s Monthly WhatsApp is the simplest WhatsApp-only monthly deal: 4 GB of WhatsApp data for Rs. 250, valid 30 days, activated by dialling *3998# (or *247# and replying 1, or *4#). Zong’s offer page confirms video and voice calls are included, and you can check remaining data with *102#. One caution: the offer page lists Rs. 250 as the consumer price in its price field, but the page text also mentions Rs. 220 — confirm the exact charge in the My Zong app before subscribing. Zong lists other WhatsApp tiers in the My Zong app, but only the 4 GB bundle could be verified on zong.com.pk today, so only it is listed here. See the full verified figures on our Zong internet packages page.

Ufone: the best per-GB WhatsApp value

Ufone’s Social WhatsApp is the best-value WhatsApp-only bundle in this comparison: 10 GB of WhatsApp data for Rs. 350 (load), valid 30 days, subscribed through the Uptcl app — Ufone publishes no USSD code for it. If you also use Facebook and other social apps, the Social bundles add minutes and SMS: Social Lite Plus gives 6 GB plus 150 on-net minutes for Rs. 350 on *1818#, Social Prime gives 15 GB plus 500 on-net minutes for Rs. 750 on *6373#, and Social Grand gives 25 GB plus 3,000 on-net minutes for Rs. 850 on *9876#. Note that the widely quoted Rs. 5-a-day Ufone WhatsApp offer does not appear on Ufone’s current official offers page, so it is not listed here. See the full verified figures on our Ufone internet packages page.

Telenor: not verified, so not listed

Telenor’s current WhatsApp and social bundles could not be verified for this guide — its website was unreachable when we checked on 8 November 2026, and no figure is published here from an aggregator. Telenor users should check the current offers in the My Telenor app or call the helpline on 345 before subscribing. See what is verified on our Telenor internet packages page.

Which should you pick?

  • Pick Jazz Weekly (Rs. 34) if you only need WhatsApp for a few days and mostly send text — but pair it with a data bundle for anything heavier.
  • Pick Zong Monthly WhatsApp (Rs. 250) if you want a simple WhatsApp-only monthly bundle with its own dial code (*3998#).
  • Pick Ufone Social WhatsApp (Rs. 350) if you use WhatsApp daily — 10 GB for the month is the best per-GB WhatsApp-only value verified here.
  • Pick Ufone Social Grand (Rs. 850) if you live on several social apps and want minutes too — 25 GB plus 3,000 on-net minutes.
  • Remember: social data works only inside the named apps. For general browsing, maps and email you still need a regular data bundle — compare the weekly options in our Jazz vs Ufone weekly comparison and the best monthly packages under Rs. 1,000 guide, or start from the Pakistan mobile packages hub.
