By introducing a new ride option called ‘Go, Mini Saver,’ Careem has given the citizens of Karachi and Lahore a chance at a better life.
After a series of increases in the cost of fuel over the course of the past few weeks, there was an urgent need to find a solution that would make ride-hailing services more reasonable for a large number of consumers on a daily basis.
With the intention of bringing much-required respite to the people of Karachi and Lahore, the ride-hailing company Careem has created a new automobile type named the “Go Mini Saver.” Customers hailing from these cities can now make ride reservations for specified times of the day at rates that are more favourable to their budgets.
In a statement, Feroz Jaleel, Country Head of Careem Pakistan, expressed his opinions as follows:
Therefore, if you want to avoid the hassle of waiting for a bus, you can book a “Go Mini Saver” today at an even cheaper cost so that you may keep it easy on your pocketbook while still enjoying the benefits of being on the go! This service is now available in Karachi and Lahore at certain time periods throughout the day, and there are plans to roll it out to additional cities in the near future.
Since the company’s start in Pakistan in 2016, Careem has made investments totalling up to one hundred million dollars and has over 800,000 drivers signed up to use its platform. Careem is transforming into a Super App, which will allow it to offer multiple opportunities as it expands its services, which currently include the mobility of people, things, and money (peer-to-peer credit transfer and mobile top-ups). These services will soon be expanded to include the delivery of food and other daily necessities.
