The ZTE Axon 40 Pro has a thickness of 8.46mm, a weight of 199g, and is available in three different colours: Magic Night Black, Crystal Mist Blue, and Starlight Orange. Its design is based on the traditional double-ring layout. MyOS 12 is included with every single model in this series.
When it comes to the display, the ZTE Axon 40 Pro utilises a 6.67-inch OLED hyperbolic screen with a resolution of 2400 by 1080. This screen enables intelligent adjustment from 60 to 144 Hz for the refresh rate, 360 Hz for the touch sampling rate, 10-bit colour depth, 1000 nits peak brightness, and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

In terms of its configuration, the ZTE Axon 40 Pro features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 CPU, a built-in 5000mAh battery, support for 66W fast charging and NFC, dual speakers with DTS audio, an X-axis linear motor, and dual speakers. Additionally, the device is equipped with dual speakers with DTS audio.
The Axon 40 Pro is ZTE’s first mobile phone to feature a camera with a resolution of 100 megapixels. It contains an 8MP, 120° ultra-wide angle and 2MP 4cm macro camera, as well as a 2MP independent depth camera, and a front-facing 16MP lens. The primary camera has an aperture of f1.89, a large-size sensor measuring 1/1.52 inches, and pixels that are equivalent to 2.1 micrometres in size.
