The S17 series from vivo has recently been unveiled in China. The vivo S17e joins the previously announced S17, S17t, and S17 Pro to make a total of four smartphones in the series. All three new gadgets share the same 4,600mAh batteries with 80W quick charging and curved 10-bit OLED panels (1260 x 2800 px resolution and 120Hz refresh rates). The chipset and camera configurations are where you’ll notice a change. Let’s investigate this matter further.
vivo S17 Launched with 50MP Front Camera and 80W Charging
The Snapdragon 778G+ is standard on the vivo S17 in its most basic configuration. The vivo s17T uses a different chipset, the Dimensity 8050. However, the S17 Pro is equipped with the Dimensity 8200 chipset. All of the handsets include either 256 or 512GB of internal storage and 8 or 12GB of RAM.
The S17 and S17 Pro have a 50MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture and autofocus for the front. Dual soft LED flash sensors may be found on either side of the front-facing cameras.

The IMX766V primary sensor (f/1.88, 1.0 m native pixels) with OIS is included in the vivo S17 Pro as well. The S17 and S17t have a 50-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and optical image stabilization. A 12-megapixel portrait sensor, 2x optical zoom, and f/1.98 aperture are exclusive to the Pro version. The vivo S17 and S17Pro both have 8-megapixel ultrawide cameras and ring-shaped LED lights.
Let’s speak about how much it costs and where you can buy it. Prices for the vivo S17 range from CNY 2,499 ($352) for the 8/256GB variant to CNY 2,999 ($422).

Prices for the vivo S17 Pro range from $3,099 ($436) for the 8/256GB model to $3,499 ($492) for the 12/512GB variant.
On June 8th, consumers in China will be able to purchase the vivo S17 series. It is unclear how soon it will be available in other areas.
