The new POCO X6 series of phones will be unveiled in India early next year by POCO, a subsidiary of Xiaomi. The exact release date has not been announced by the official, but the POCO X6 series mini website has been released ahead of schedule on the Flipkart e-commerce platform.

It has been officially announced that the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chip will be included in the POCO X6 Pro. Two storage options will be available for the POCO X6 Pro, according to certification material from the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC): 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB.

It should be noted that the POCO X6 Pro is just the Redmi K70e repackaged for the Chinese market. The charging speed of the POCO X6 Pro is 67W, which is a modest decrease from the 90W of the Redmi K70e. Manufacturers often do this to meet the demands of various markets. In most respects, the POCO X6 Pro is identical to the Redmi K70e, except for the ability to customize the charging speed.

The 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen on the POCO X6 Pro can reach 1800 nits of brightness, has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and is compatible with HDR 10+, Dolby Vision, DCI-P3 color gamut, and 1920 Hz PWM high-frequency dimming. The phone’s fundamental configuration includes the aforementioned Dimensity 8300 Ultra microprocessor, a Mali G615 graphics processor, 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X memory, and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. When it comes to the operating system, the POCO X6 Pro comes with the HyperOS version that is based on Android 14.

On the back of the POCO X6 Pro is a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens; there is also a 16MP front-facing camera with a dual-color temperature LED flash. With a 5500mAh battery, 67W rapid charging capabilities, and an on-screen fingerprint recognition sensor, this machine offers great battery life. The phone has gotten Hi-Res wireless certification and Hi-Res audio certification, among other things. It also boasts stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, near-field communication (NFC), GPS, an IR remote control, and support for Wi-Fi 6.

The 12GB + 256GB Redmi K70e costs 1,999 yuan in China, therefore when it launches in India, the POCO X6 Pro will probably cost less than 25,000 rupees (IT House Note: 2,138 yuan). Considering its top-notch setup, the pricing is appealing.
